After all the weeks or months of planning, it is important that the project be exactly as you envisioned both from a functional as well as from a visual standpoint. What happens if it is not? Our past experience in the field of yacht design has shown that many people have difficulty visualizing a design from a 2- dimensional drawing.
We offer a service that is affordable to anyone planning to undertake a renovation, large or small, which allows homeowners to see areas to be renovated before any actual construction takes place.
From material provided to us, we create a 3D computer model of the soon-to-be renovated space. This material may include an architect's or designer's 2D drawing or your own hand-drawn sketch, room measurements, photographs, and magazine clippings.
We then take computer "photographs" or renderings of the computer model. These preliminary renderings are white as the colours and textures have yet to be applied.
At this point in the process, we encourage you to make changes to ceilings, walls, windows, doors, trim and furniture location. We then re-render the model and provide you with printed or electronic copies.
Once you are happy with the layout, we apply the colours and textures as chosen by you to the computer model. Special care is taken with the lighting because this is the final element which brings your rooms to life.
We then produce high resolution renderings of the space from one or more angles. If undecided on the final choice of wall or floor colour, we would be happy to do several images in different colour schemes. These renderings will be given to you in the form of printed images and/or electronic image files.
